While St Pat’s will be disappointed not to stop Shamrock Rovers, they will have their chance of silverware in the FAI Cup final in two weeks. Elsewhere, Dundalk claimed a crucial 2-0 victory over Bohemians in the race for Europe, as Connor Malley’s and Daniel Kelly scored late goals to secure victory. With fourth place possibly having European football if Bohemians win the FAI Cup, it is Damien Duff’s Shelbourne who currently occupy the position on after a 3-2 win over UCD. After tonight’s results, Shelbourne are on 57 points, with Dundalk and Bohemians on 55 points.
